June 13-17 (grades 6-8): Intro to Interfaith & Cross Cultural Understanding.
June 20-24 (grades 8-12): Justice & Equity Immersion
The Kaufman Interfaith Institute invites all youth regardless of religious, spiritual, or secular background to join us for Interfaith Service Day Camps. These camps will take place from 8:30 am-3:00 pm on the weeks of June 13-17 and June 20-24th. Camp costs $100, but scholarships are available.
The week of June 13th is an introduction to the world of interfaith leadership, plan on visiting sacred sites and building community through service. This week is perfect for students who are new to interfaith dialogue and cross-cultural engagement, and are ready to begin the journey of seeing new places in our city and making new friends.
The week of June 20th will explore cooperation across lines of difference as we learn each other’s stories and work to build an equitable community for everyone. This week is perfect for students who have prior knowledge of interfaith dialogue, cross-cultural communication, and are ready for a justice and equity immersion experience.
