Learn the art form of breaking down a full carcass to individual portions and specifications. This requires skill and strong attention to detail, we will train you in the art of butchering Beef and Pork. You will work in a refrigerated production environment with a great team. With on the job training and support you can excel in a new career.
Expectations:
*Arrive on time and ready for work
*Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
*Follow all safety protocols including wearing Personal Protective Equipment
*Maintain a clean and safe work area
*Ask for help and offer help
*Follow directions
*Work with the rest of the team to ensure production goals are met
You will learn how to:
*Maintain a sharp knife and learn knife skills
*Consistently cut all trim pieces
*Identify Primal/Sub primal cuts
*Identify and Communicate quality issues to supervisor
*Disassemble and rinse all equipment, tools, tables, cutting boards
*Move pallets and Combo bins as orders are finished
*Label bins correctly
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM, Overtime available
Pay: $16.25-$23.25 D.O.E. with Generous Benefits
