Celebrate Black Music Month & Juneteenth with the Urban Choral Arts Society! Celebrate Black Music Month with The Urban Choral Arts Society! This year’s Black Music Month Concert is titled, “Freedom’s Journey" where we celebrate the contributions of African Americans to the world of music. Through Spirituals, Gospel, R&B, & Pop, we're journeying through time and featuring music that has woven our nation's rich heritage. Clearly this is a program packed with excitement and a variety of music planned for children and families of all ages! With the event being held on Juneteenth Weekend, this event is open to all ages. The concert will be held outdoors in on the front lawn of the Carl J. Murphy Fine Arts Center. Black-owned business vendors will be on site.
