Pic is humor. However, I am in deep with a 3 way switch wiring coming out of a junction box House built in '41 as a camp so wiring is ancient with only partial grounding. House has been expanded on a number of times complicating wiring and access. Saying it does not meet code is an understatement. Complicating factors: This mess is in the attic with limited access. I'm 6'4 and 260 and I've been up there, so it's do-able. I know enough to follow a competent electrician's direction to help identify which wire goes where and more if necessary. I can provide a pretty good description of what I did and the location of what I believe to be important junction boxes to begin the process. The thing was working fine 3 days ago. This mess resulted from attempting to put exposed connections into a junction box and therein begins the tale of woe... Have experience and know what you're doing.
