OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City Fire and Rescue Services has announced a list of guarded beaches for Memorial Day Weekend. Beaches are guarded from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Beachgoers are urged to only swim at guarded beaches, the Ocean City Beach Patrol said. The following beaches will be guarded starting May 28 and continuing through June 1: St. CharlesBrighton8th Street9th Street10th Street11th Street12th Street26th Street34th Street58th StreetAdditional beaches will be added throughout June until the beach patrol reaches full staffing.
