Description

Learn how to create beautiful, hand-carved, block prints from linoleum. We will start by practicing techniques, and then everyone will create their own design on a block which can be used again and again. Finally we'll apply ink to print on art paper and then on your choice of textiles. The paper prints are great for framing and cards. No experience required! Workshop highlights: • All supplies provided. You'll use studio tools and inks for carving and printing, with an option to purchase, if you just can't get enough! Or come back to the studio to borrow our supplies. • Create your own design, with guidance from Hannah. Don't worry if the idea of having to create a design is terrifying! We promise we'll help, and you'll be fine, and even have fun. :) • Take home your finished block, your paper prints, and your textile prints. • Choose textiles to print on, from towels, napkins, tote bags, koozies, even undies. • Learn in a small class setting, with one on one support as needed.
