SILVER SPRING, MD — Authorities are investigating the death of a man who was found in downtown Silver Spring just after midnight on Tuesday. Montgomery County Police say officers responded to calls about a disturbance from a home on the 1700 block of East West Highway. They found the man's body when they arrived, the news release says. Authorities did not say exactly where the body was found. Police said they do not believe there is a threat to the community, but said they are investigating the death.
