By Cristian ArguetaSoto, Fort Worth Report May 23, 2022 Alexis Bright, a certified nurse assistant, started her own business less than a year ago. "I decided to go into business for myself or create something where I can create something for myself," Bright said. "I'm just trying to figure things out on my own and surround myself with things that I need to help me be successful." Bright's nursing business, Care in Concierge, is in its infancy stage. She needed the tools and network to grow the business out of its early stages after 12 years as a CNA. The Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce, under the leadership of Michelle Green-Ford, began its efforts of accelerating Black and Latino owned businesses through educational lectures and a sponsorship from J.P.
