Among the meeting highlights: City Council approves final plat of Hentges Industrial Park 3rd Addition The City Council approved the final plat for Hentges Industrial Park 3rd Addition. This plat consists of 14 acres that would create two parcels: one nine-acre lot for use by S.M. Hentges and one 4.8-acre lot for a proposed development. Council authorizes several grant applications The City Council authorized the city to apply for five separate grants, including: Minnesota Historical Society Large Legacy Grant for the city's Cultural Corridor project extending from the Holmes Street Bridge to The Landing. Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council Grant for the restoration of vegetation to native prairie land between the Minnesota River and current trails in the Cultural Corridor. Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program Grant to hire a social services co-responder to assist police officers on duty with mental health disorder or substance use disorder calls.
