The ideal candidate for the General Maintenance position will possess a diverse range of skills and abilities. We are looking for someone who can follow directions and can work efficiently and independently. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Prioritize and accomplish daily routines, assigned tasks and other projects with ample attention to detail and follow through to completion (ie; Daily inspections, cleaning and preventative maintenance, small and large projects). The job requires basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, custodial, painting, and carpentry experience. Must have the ability to lift over 50 pounds in weight and work from heights when necessary. Specific Skills Required: Basic Electrical Basic Plumbing Carpentry Skills General Maintenance Repairs Interior/Exterior Painting Landscaping Golf Cart Maintenance Daily Duties Include: Daily inspections, repair and upkeep of the property and golf carts, Performing preventative maintenance care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the company Basic cleaning and weed abatement Maintaining the required uniform and insuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times Cleaning work area, tools & equipment Courteous, efficient response at all times Operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times Knowledge and adherence to company policies and procedures Be available to respond to an emergency and work on an on-call basis when needed Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
