Dog housing or rehoming

Hello, I'm a college student looking for a furry friend to keep me company. Since I moved away from home, I don't have my dog to soothe me anymore and having a dog around is really comforting and helps me cope with my mental health struggles. I don't have much money to spare for a service dog right now which I hope to aim for in the future, but these would be a couple good options for the time being. I'd be happy to house your dog while you go on a trip for no cost as the payment would just be the comfort they'd provide. I would just need their little necessities like their favourite bowls, toys, food, treats, etc. Also it'd be helpful to know about their behaviours to make sure they can generally coexist (walk past) other dogs in my area without being overly aggressive since I wouldn't want to get in trouble with my neighbours or landlord. Despite living in an apartment I love to wander outside so your dog would get plenty of exercise and if dog friendly, would get time at a nearby dog park to play. Or if you have a dog you need to rehome, I'd be happy to take them in. I just wouldn't be able to pay hundreds in a rehoming fee. I love all dogs, but have a general preference towards large dog breeds like malamutes, akita, great pyrenees, etc. So if you're looking to rehome a large dog breed I'd be happy to discuss with you, but even if it's a medium or small size breed, I'm still happy to consider them. Of course I would not abandon them either if/when I get a service dog in the future. In fact if they are a large breed dog with an aptitude for service work, I may just train them instead.
