Hey there. I’m a 30-something guitarist in the South Bay looking for new musical opportunities. A little about my background: I’m originally from CT but spent most of my adult life in Boston area. I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Music Education and made my living as a guitar teacher between 2008-2014. During that time I played in a few bands but most of my focus was on teaching and recording music. Since 2014, I got into the tech field and music took a backseat. I moved out to the Bay Area in October 2020 and I’m really feeling the itch to get back out there and play music again. My taste ranges from old school metal (Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth), to classic rock (Rush, Pink Floyd, GnR) to 90s alternative (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Weezer) and some modern EDM, pop, and indie rock. I’m looking for like-minded musicians based in the South Bay or Peninsula (I’m in Sunnyvale) with the goal of gigging once a week or at least a few times a month. Open to playing anything from top 40 stuff at weddings to old school metal covers at bars and clubs.
