Celebrate our 4th Annual United to Read Event on November 3, 2022! Celebrate our 4th Annual United to Read Event on November 3, 2022! On this day, volunteers across Georgetown, and Williamsburg Counties will be reading to over 150 elementary & daycare classrooms.We just need YOU to donate one hour of your life from 09AM-10AM on November 7, 2019 at your favorite Elementary School in Georgetown & Williamsburg County. No experience necessary, just a love of reading. Materials are provided!Volunteers will read to a Kindergarten, 1st or 2nd Grade Class. Register you and your friend EARLY to choose which school you would like to read at. Read to a classroom, interact with students, and make a diffrence at your local Elementary School! #localneeds #localsolutions FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?Yes, particpants must be 17 years old and older. Please be prepared to present your drivers license upon entering the school. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?All volunteers are required to have their own means of transportation. Parking is available at each United to Read Site Other RequirementsUpon registration, background checks are conducted.
