Business Clothing Drive Sunday, July 24th 10am-4pm I've teamed up with Dress for Success Tampa Bay to do a community clothing drive. It takes a village, and with your help Dress for Success can continue to empower hundreds of thousands of women on their path to financial independence. We hope we can count on your support and you can join us for this magical day. La Vecina Botánica is geared to not only raise funds for the organization, but also to raise awareness and be a platform for our local charities. We would love to spread the word on what they do and how the community can get involved. Dress for success serves as personal shoppers and provide clients with business attire, cosmetics, footwear, accessories and –most importantly–a self-confidence boost by providing the following. Professional Suiting (Dressed from head to toe) Resume Writing Interview Coaching Career Counseling Power Networking Job Retention Skills Career Advancement Buy a ticket and come donate your gently used business attire. What We Will Accept: Suits (Pants or skirt with matching jacket) Coordinated, contemporary, interview-appropriate outfits, suits, skirts, pants and blouses ∙ Shoes – gently worn and business appropriate Jewelry and accessories (ex. watches, scarves) Gently used purses Hosierymake-up (new in original packaging) Cash contributions ($50+ can purchase a new suit for our clients) Note that the clothing donations should be clean and ready to wearSorry, We Do Not Accept: Clothing that is inappropriate for an interview or workplace Men’s clothing Outdated garments Heavy wool clothing Used hosiery, undergarments or make-up DenimPlease contact [email protected] with any questions. CAREER COUNSELING Volunteers promote confidence and professionalism by providing our clients with personalized assistance in finding and obtaining a job. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS Workshops which include job search training program for women who are underemployed or unemployed. PROFESSIONAL WOMEN’S GROUP The professional Women’s Group (PWG) offers successfully employed Dress for Success clients a support system and job retention program.
