Frankfort Car Club's Cruise Nights To Return June 6

FRANKFORT, IL — Summer is right around the corner, and that means the Frankfort Car Club is back with its Cruise Nights at Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort. Cruise Nights are scheduled for every Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. from June 6 through Sept. 26, with the exception of Aug. 29 and Sept. 5 because of the Frankfort Fall Fest. Cruise Nights are free to attend, and there is no registration fee for those who want to show off their classic rides, according to Frankfort Car Club Secretary Larry Claypool. This year, the Frankfort Car Club is encouraging parents to bring out their "future drivers." Children can go to the main stage and receive a free Hot Wheels toy just for coming out, Claypool said. The Frankfort Car Club also plans to hold raffles each night, with winners announced at around 7:30 p.m., Claypool said. Each Cruise Night will have a specific theme for the evening.
