Description
Press release from the City Of Davis:
May 20, 2022
Due to the strength of the wind storm and heavy gusts, multiple City crews and contracted vendors have been hard at work since the early hours of Friday morning to clear debris and fallen limbs throughout the community, including at Slide Hill Park. Staff were on site at the Park multiple times today to clear limbs, place caution tape and assess the situation. Out of an abundance of caution, the City will close the play structure and part of path near the play structure, until a post-wind storm assessment can be performed. We take the safety of our families and residents very seriously. We appreciate the public's patience as we clear up the debris.
To report downed/hanging branches or trees, the public is encouraged to contact the City of Davis Public Works Utilities and Operations Department at 530-757-5686 or [email protected].
You can also visit our 24/7 reporting system My Davis at: www.cityofdavis.org/mydavis or download the free My Davis app. When reporting the location, please be as specific as possible (identifying cross streets or landmarks) to ensure that the City can locate the tree or branch.
