Dozens Of Tickets Expected To Be Written In Alameda Wednesday

ALAMEDA, CA —Alameda Police officers, along with officers from other agencies, will be out in force on Wednesday writing tickets for motor vehicle violations. It's Alameda's turn to host Alameda County's High-Intensity Traffic Team (HITT) which consists of officers from multiple agencies working together to enforce laws in a single city. June's traffic focus is crosswalk violations, although officers will look for unsafe lane changes, right-of-way violations, and other infractions. Typically, A HITT enforcement will produced more than 100 tickets in a 3 or 4 hour operation, so drive safely and watch for pedestrians.
