MARIETTA, GA — Video circulating on social media shows former NFL football player Brendan Langley getting into a brawl with a United Airlines employee at Newark Liberty International Airport. Langley, who is from Marietta and attended Carlton J. Kell High School, was identified as the passenger in the video by TMZ. The video shows the two exchanging blows before Langley hits the employee with a pair of punches that knock him backward. The employee then recovers and bows up to Langley, but it appears the brawl is winding down until the employee slaps Langley in the side of the head. Langley then yells to onlookers, "You saw that (expletive)?" The video shows Langley then punches the employee several times, knocking him backward over the check-in area and causing him to bleed heavily near his left eye. The employee then gets back up and walks back to Langley, who talks animatedly to him. A man in a blue vest walks up and talks to the employee before the video cuts off. Langley has been charged with assault and the employee fired by United, according to TMZ. Langley was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Lamar University. He played two seasons with the Broncos and signed with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League earlier this year.
