We currently have multiple openings for General Labor at our California facilities. We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity. Responsibilities include but are not limited: • Safely handle miscellaneous materials and fill in for absence both planned and unplanned • May require work in and across all machines and support departments in the plant on all three shifts • Plays a support role on a team dedicated to maintain high standards of safety, quality, housekeeping and productivity • Minimum lifting up to 50 lbs. Requirements: Candidates must be able to and required to meet the following: • Work alternate shifts: day, swing or graveyard shifts • Work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as, but not limited to, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and safety toed shoes The pre-hire process for successful candidates will include: • Aptitude Test • Team Interview • Physical & Drug Screen • Background Check International Paper offers a competitive hourly wage rate plus applicable shift differential and overtime.
