I'm revisiting a "cold case" from 1981 - sometime in June or July around 2 a.m. I was coming back from El Torito (the restaurant, not the base) when some guy hit my back bumper on my 1973 Volkswagen Beattle and tore off the rubber piece that protects the chrome. Nothing happened to the car but I got whiplash and had to miss work for like a week. It was devastating and back then we didn't have Facebook so I had no one to really share what I was going through or to post photos of what happened. If anyone remembers this - please reach out as soon as possible. This came up in therapy recently as a suppressed memory. I had completely forgotten about it. It may sound silly to you but it had to have had an affect on my life. I never married or had kids. I need justice - this man needs to be found and off the streets.
