Hello, we are looking for a part time dog walker for our small, but growing, company. Our cachement area is on the west side of the city, from WTC up to 21st street. We are a dog centered company, meaning we are interested more about the care of dogs than the money. The largest pack walk we do is 3 per person, though employees often are in the same area and can walk together. Our dogs range in age from 10 weeks to 10 years We are a tight knit crew of dog lovers, and we expect you to be the same! If this is a just another job for you, apply somewhere else. To start with this position will be part time with availability needed between 9-6 (though you won't need to work all of those hours), and days will usually be about 5-8 hours long We are a company that is bonded and insured, so you must have a SSN or alien registration number/valid work permit. You must also be over 18. You must have a working smart phone that is able to send and receive pictures You must be in good physical health - you will be walking over 10 miles a day when you work, and since we focus on exercise for the dogs we expect a certain speed of walker You must be okay in all weather conditions - we walk dogs rain or shine, sleet or snow, whether its windy or excessively hot You must LOVE dogs You must be able to follow directions and be communicative You must be good at time management, as the dogs are on a schedule and sometimes it is tight You must be comfortable speaking with the dogs' parents, as sometimes they are home Our grouped dogs range anywhere from being around the corner to a 1.25 miles away from each other Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday availability is necessary though we are flexible on the other days There is room for growth if anyone is interested and able to learn to become a dog trainer and eventually behaviorist Please include a quick bio with your hobbies and a little bit about yourself, as well as an attached resume with your response.
