Job description: Eastern Solutions, LLC is an environmental equipment and support service company that was founded in 2010. Eastern Solution's support service industry continues to expand and now offers our clients a full range of services. The field technician provides direct support for the senior field lead for various projects. The field technician must be flexible to changes in the work schedule/extended workdays, be available to respond on short notice and have a willingness to travel out of town for overnight projects. Position Description Support of various remediation projects included not limited to: Maintenance of stormwater ponds and environmental landfills Soil Excavation and disposal Demolition and removal Soil and or water sampling Grounds maintenance at various environmental sites Mowing/string trimming slopes and basins of ponds Operation of light and heavy equipment for clearing and maintaining of the over growth on various sites Maintain heavy equipment and light equipment (oil changes, light repairs, etc.) Writing clear field reports of site activities each day Field Technician Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER or ability to obtain (will provide) Basic computer skills Working under the direct supervision of the Field Leader, this is a field based position and functions as an integral component to the smooth and profitable execution of work in the field Ability to follow instructions and work well individually and as part of a team. Able to prioritize, follow work processes, and job scope requirements. Ability to respond to out of town projects as needed Must wear work boots, Eastern Solution's uniforms, eye, and ear protection, and present yourself in a clean and polite manner Ability to work outside in all weather conditions Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns and other environmental risks Must practice safety with chemicals and equipment Being able to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 50lbs Industry/Construction experience preferred but not required Mechanically inclined Must pass DOT physical including drug and alcohol screening Must be able to pass a criminal background check Valid Driver's License with good driving record Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401k, Medical, Bonus Pay
