We are seeking someone with some prior knowledge of auto parts or related Auto Service Experience ( Knows a fender from a bumper Etc. ) The Job will involve learning and working with various on-line parts ordering programs and ultimately being able to work with shop techs and help with identifying and locating parts they are requesting. This is an active position that will involve checking parts orders in when they arrive, tagging orders with R.O. #s & organizing them in bins for the techs as they come in. You will also be expected to assist with the return of unused parts sent wrong etc. & help monitor credits with the office manager. The position also sometimes involves helping with arranging subcontractor services for glass work, tire work, alignments, etc.as needs arise, and occasionally helping with getting cars back and forth from a dealer or sublet shops when needed. The Job also offers the opportunity to learn estimating & management skills if the candidate has the desire to grow in those areas. Hours are 8AM to 5PM M-F applicant should have some flexibility with lunch break timing etc. due to the unpredictable nature of parts deliveries.
