Description
We are two guys looking for a couple good players. We are a drummer with lots of pro experience and a guitarist/bass player with just a bunch of pro experience. We're looking for musicians who know how to groove and improvise. As we kick out the jams, we might turn the gain up but we turn the volume down. Listening to us perform, you can enjoy your drink and hold a conversation--but you'll want to get up and dance. You might be a vocalist, play keys, guitar, bass or something else, but you've got good time, a knack for bringing energy into low-volume jams, and you listen to what your bandmates are playing. We're interested in a wide range of music, but whatever we do is going to groove, have jazzy harmonies and improvisation, and will be fun to listen to. We are Pullman-based but are looking to gig widely and as the spirit moves us (and opportunity knocks!).
We hope to hear you knockin' real soon!
Here's a couple samples of what we've done in the past.
Pork Pie Hat (Brian on lead guitar, Dave on drums; with our old mates Eric on guitar, Scotty on flute, and Jack on bass) plays "Green Dolphin Street" live on KJEM radio (2013) https://soundcloud.com/the-plural-muses/on-green-dolphin-street-aiff
A live cover of "It Ain't Necessarily So" at the 2014 Puget Sound Guitar Workshop (Brian on acoustic guitar and vocal with fellow campers Amy on bass and Steve on flute) https://soundcloud.com/the-plural-muses/it-aint-necessarily-so?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing#t=1:02
