Animal Care Associates are responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary facility for animals and people and providing humane handling and care for all shelter animals. Assures all animals’ nutrition, housing, and basic medical needs are met on a daily basis. We are seeking full and part-time team members who have a positive attitude, like working with both people and animals, embrace their individuality and that of others. Fulltime hours are daytime Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Part-time hours are daytime Saturday and Sunday. We offer health insurance, Simple IRA with match, sick time and two weeks vacation for full-time staff. Successful candidates will be eligible to grow into veterinary assistant positions at our low-cost veterinary clinic. Hourly wage starts at $12.25 with consideration given for animal care experience.
