Songwriter's Night - June 13th

Good afternoon! Are you interested in getting your original songs out to the world? Join us at Black Rabbit Mead Company for monthly songwriter's nights! Be advised that this is not a typical open mic night, so do not come ready to sign up or you will be sorely disappointed. If you're interested in playing, please send at least 2 samples of your music via email to be considered for a slot. Once approved, the info for the event is as follows: you'll arrive at 6:50 with your own mic and your instrument ready to play 2 songs. I select the artist order at random (let me know if you need a specific time slot). I provide one mic stand, an XLR cable, a 1/4" plugin for your guitar, and I will have my keyboard setup on stage each month for anyone to use. If you have ANY special equipment other than your mic and guitar, I need to know that before the event. Depending on what you have, I may need you to arrive at 6:30 to set up (non-acoustic duos and trios must arrive at 6:30 and bring their own mic stands, cables, etc). THIS IS NOT A PAID GIG, but it IS an excellent chance to play your music for a supportive group of people and meet fellow songwriters. Black Rabbit also has weekly live music (on Saturday nights), so if they like what they hear they will likely book you.
