$1,000 signing bonus for a Construction Carpenter Job Description: The Wall Doctor, Inc., located in Bellevue, is hiring for an experienced construction carpenter to add to our team. We restore, repair and renovation of single-family homes, multi-family homes, condominiums, and small commercial spaces primarily in the Seattle/Bellevue/Everett area. We are looking for someone with a good framing and finish carpentry foundation. Overview: • Applicant must be an even tempered, highly motivated, detail oriented, problem solver with a good understanding of residential carpentry skills. • This position is for a bags-on, experienced carpenter position. • Someone that can handle working with others or on their own, knows how to follow direction, but can solve problems on site as well. Field Superintendent capabilities are a plus. • We take great pride in our work and want a safe job site and a respectful client relationship. Must have experience in fields below: • Framing • Basic finish carpentry • Drywall • General knowledge of plumbing and electrical General: • Minimum 3 years' experience • Personal working tools • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the customer & home office. • Strictly follow company safety rules and procedures • Ensuring projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high quality standards. • Meets equipment material requirements through purchasing or requests for special orders. • Preps the jobsite using protective materials & leaves the jobsite clean • Maintains equipment & tools • Documents actions by completing timecards and records. • Represents the company professional appearance (shirts provided) • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership of work performed, maintaining consistent quality, and providing excellent customer service. Requirements for the position: • Personal working tools • Lift 50+ pounds & be capable of standing for long periods of time • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Pass Background Check • Have reliable transportation • 18 years or older Excellent benefits package: • COMPANY VEHICLE SUPPLIED -after probation period • Paid sick leave • Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life after probation period -employer pays 50% • Paid Holidays • Cell Phone Allowance Compensation: • We will pay you a $1000.
