Description

The Jefferson Street Strutters play New Orleans style jazz. The band is devoted to tunes of the early jazz days through the ‘20s & 30s. Most of the members have played and marched on the streets of New Orleans, where jazz began. The JSS were hired to lead “ Jim Vance’s (the late WRC’s news anchor) second line parade at the Washington National Cathedral, as well as playing for the Smithsonian Museum, the United States Postal Museum 100th anniversary and many festivals over the past 2 decades. So grab those dancing shoes for the huge dance floor as the tunes begin to flow. Rosensteel is within walking distance of the Forest Glen Metro stop.
