My approx 45lb 3 year old aussie needs a friend to play with. He is up to date on all shots and healthy. He is dog friendly, but he's a "dog's dog." He is slow to warm up to people and if people aren't used to him barking at them at first and aren't confident around him, he tends to be a bit reactive with them. He has never bitten anyone, but it would be inappropriate to take him to a public dog park without being able to explain all of this to people coming and going. Ideally, I'd like to find him a dog friend with an easy going human who is okay with a nervous dog around them. He is better with women, but I want to get him used to everyone. I don't have any hangups with any group of people.
