Job Summary Operate forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas and loading docks, into storage yard and/or trucks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to: • Load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner • Transport product to storage areas using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store product. • Accurately pull and distribute outgoing shipments • Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and other miscellaneous tasks as needed. • Rotates yard stock and safely moves materials using a forklift • Operate warehouse and yard equipment safely and efficiently • Abide by all company rules and policies in regards to conduct and safety • Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times. • Continuously update product knowledge through available resources. Stay informed and educated of product inventory. Know location of merchandise in warehouse and yard • Assist in maintaining appearance of branch as needed in warehouse and yard area Education and/or Experience • 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position • Forklift experience highly desired • Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions • Experience in the water and waste water industry a plus • A valid driver’s license is required Post offer drug screen, and background check is required
