Popular, well-established acoustic Duo Radioactive is holding auditions for a new guitarist... Great opportunity, great gigs, great music, large fan base, great money plus tips. This act is very much in demand and practically books itself, and can basically work at will, always booked 6 months to a year in advance at all great venues. All of the music is on the Radioactive YouTube channel, so the keys and arrangements of the songs are right there to make it easy for a new guitar player to just step in seamlessly... We have a small but powerful, easy to set up PA that sounds incredible at any level, in any room. I handle all the promo, artwork, posters, social media presence as well as all the booking, but the pay is split 50/50 You must: • Have professional gear from your guitar to your microphone, including reliable transportation. • Be able to sing lead and the backup vocals, including harmonies. • A good ear and be able to pick up songs relatively quickly and sometimes on the fly. • Some significant level of live stage experience. • Not be in any other bands or acts...Trying to book around another working situation is just too difficult. • And most of all you just be professional. Show up on time, help set up and tear down, play for the song, control your volume etc... The whole act is very compact with only acoustic guitar and drums and great vocals. It's incredibly full sounding without any FX, loops or pre-recorded music of any kind, which is a big part of the appeal and why it's so popular and so many people like it! It's a challenging gig, with a great song list of a wide variety of music, but extremely musically fulfilling! For a young aspiring musician this could be an incredible, invaluable learning experience, an opportunity of a lifetime, for for a seasoned veteran it may just be the best way to lay back and totally enjoy the latter years of your musical career.
