Established Dog Daycare and Boarding Facility seeking part-time applicants who love dogs and are hardworking, positive and a team player. Entry level (no previous experience) starts at $10/hr plus TIPS.
Job Duties: Socializing with dogs in a free-play environment and monitoring their behavior to ensure a safe atmosphere • Clean-up and sanitize play areas and kennels throughout the day • Prepping meals and medicating animals as needed • Monitoring dogs and communicating any relevant issues during their stay • Handling dogs at am drop off and pm pick up to ensure prompt customer service • Maintaining laundry throughout the day • Must feel at ease working in a loud environment. • Must be comfortable and confident to be around dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments • Prior experience working with dogs, a plus. Applicant must be able to lift 50lbs and manage Large and XL dogs on a leash with ease. Reliable transportation for on time arrival; PUNCTUALITY required! Openings: Monday - Friday: 6:30 am shifts and a 4 – 7pm shift, Saturday & Sunday 12 – 5 pm, Working Holidays required, 30+ hours/week.
