Biden and his administration have single handedly destroyed the American Energy Production. There has been a comprehensive hostility of the energy sector since day one by this administration. On day one in office, as we all know, Biden shut down the Keystone oil pipeline. He also stopped all drilling in the Anwar oil field in Alaska. This is one of the most prolific oil fields in the world. By law, there should be at least two on going lease sales. Going against the law, he shut down drilling. It will be challenged in the courts, but in the mean time America has a diminished oil supply. Biden also shut down drilling in the Cook inlet Basin in Alaska which is another very prolific oil filed. The Biden administration cancelled the lease. There have also been many other oil leases cancelled or withdrawn. Also, Secretary Haaland took half of the national petroleum oil reserves off the table. Accounts on environmental quality reinstated NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) rules which are clearly designed to delay energy production projects. This administration is trying to blame the oil shortage on Covid and the War in Ukraine. All they would have to do to stop this disaster is START DRILLING.
