PLEASE HELP ME LIVE‼️ Shelter is euthanizing me 5/30, 8 am!! I have done nothing wrong! Hi, I'm Opie🐾 (I am dog friendly. I came in with a dog!). I am set to be euthanized May 30th. Why am I E-listed? STRESS!! I’m REALLY struggling BAD! Sadly, frustration from long periods of confinement has caused me to push and slam up against the kennel gate even when the kennel area is quiet. I JUST WANT OUT!! I am starting to injure myself!! It’s just not humane to keep me here. Who can save my life? I don’t want to die in this shelter I am chill, calm, and great on a leash! (see my videos) I’m a 3-year-old, neutered, brindle and white American Pit Bull Terrier (60 lbs.) I came in as a friendly stray. I am so affectionate that I am a BIG leaner! I will follow you and lean into you for pets big time! I also know sit and take treats nicely. I have been non-reactive to dogs here in the shelter, plus I came in with a dog, so I am probably Ok with other dogs. This shelter is run down, noisy, and very stressful to be in day after day, It is wearing on me!! I just need out of here ASAP before I further injure myself! The shelter recommends that I have an adopter that understands stressed dogs like me, that I meet the entire family before going home, and that children in the home be older.
