FIXED AKC Pitbull Seeking a Better Home

Posting on Craigslist is my last resort, but at this point, I am desperate to find our dog the right owner and the right environment. He is about 3 years old, registered AKC, fully vaccinated and fixed. Raised around my kids since 11 weeks old, and never in his life has shown aggression toward people or other dogs. Quite the opposite, he JUST wants to be around people and other dogs. He is, however, full of energy, and therefore EXTREMELY bored within our current situation. Before Covid we had plenty of time to give him attention, husband had a less demanding job and I was not homeschooling prior. Not only am I now unable to provide what I used to for him, I absolutely cannot take on another dog to keep him entertained (because I am already burnt out as it is). Besides boredom, he is highly allergic to our invasive weeds, and has to be restricted from most of our property because of this, which has basically just become a double edged sword. I am looking for someone who believes they are capable of handling a strong, energetic and loving dog. Someone who can give him walks, exercise, a lot of love and attention, possibly let him sleep with you at night (yes, he loves that). He needs a close companion and I am unable to give him that right now. Please let me know if you or anyone qualified you may know, would be interested. I have tried contacting certain local pit bull rescues with no reply, but feel free to point me in the direction of any active rescues you may know as well.
