Connect and Install Flexible Air Duct in Suspended Ceiling

Jobs

Nordhoff near Canoga, Los Angeles CA

Description

We have an office that is missing one flexible air duct. All the other offices work fine. The air diffuser with the metal collar over the office is 10" diameter. We bought 25' of flexible air duct in 10". We checked how they're connected in the other offices and it's zip tied on that end. On the side where the air handler box is, different air ducts T off that. It seems like a hole needs to be cut into the box and a starting collar (see 2nd to last picture) put in and then zip tying the other end to the box. Maybe there is some other better way. You can tell us if you do the job. Also, by the main T that two ducts come off of, there seems to be a leak around it, so you can feel air rushing out. So we need to have air duct sealant applied there or sealed in whatever manner is best. See pictures and videos. Videos be accessed on this link. Copy and paste into URL bar. If you offer to take on this gig, you must know how to do this and have done this before. It doesn't appear like, with someone who knows what they're doing, to be hard.
