Hot Deli Clerk $16 San Diego, CA. Job Source is currently looking for a Hot Deli Clerk for our Grocery Store located in San Diego. Job Duties: Preparation, Stock, Replenish, Cleaning, Regulation, Dumping, Display, Sales Floor Maintenance, Customer Service Minimum Qualifications: ● Previous kitchen, culinary, deli, restaurant, kitchen management, cooking or customer service experience is preferred. ● Ability to follow instructions and procedures. ● Working knowledge of types of ingredients, vegetables, meats carried in the department. ● Working knowledge of CAL-OSHA safety practices in the use of all dishwashing chemicals is preferred. Skills Required: ● Good customer service skills. ● Good time management skills. ● Ability to visually identify product quality and freshness. Physical Demands: ● Standing for extended periods is commonly required. ● Good manual dexterity for the use of processing equipment such as cutter or labeling. ● Ability to lift 25 lbs or more with appropriate equipment.
