Trident Maritime Systems LLC/USJ Repair Division is looking to hire for various trades. We need ELECTRICIANS, SHEETMETAL WORKERS/JOINERS, PIPE BRAZIERS, LABORERS, WELDERS & PIPEFITTERS Must have proven experience in the Ship Repair industry and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in this area. Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A thorough knowledge of power tools, shipboard metal grades and HVAC components is required. Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with navy personnel in order to assist with repairs and troubleshooting. Willing to work any shift and overtime as required. Must be highly safety conscious. Must be able to obtain a DBIDS credential. Individuals with former verifiable leadman or foreman experience will be considered first. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: OSHA 10 Hour Training for Shipyards (provided) High school diploma or its equivalent required. Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent work experience in the field is required.
