Hello! My name is Thalia. I am an NYS certified Special Education teacher, English Language Learner certified, and certified in Orton- Gillingham. Also, I am Bilingual in Spanish. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a teacher assistant. I have been tutoring and teaching for 10 years in various settings tutoring small and large groups, and or private individual tutoring. Tutoring has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Additionally, I specialize in English, reading comprehension, phonics (with beginning readers), essay writing, history, and Spanish. I am well-versed in tutoring elementary school children, on any topic that is required. Additionally, I will be providing Summer sessions for students that are behind and need to be at grade level by September 2022.
