I am desperately searching for a rescue that can take our senior dog. I am moving out of state and cannot take him. I have reached out to several local rescues, but no one has gotten back to me. We are willing to drive to rescues located within 3 hours of Phoenix, AZ. I really want to aviod surrendering him to MCACC. He is approximately 12 years old, 90lbs, neutered and up to date with shots. He will come with 1 year's worth of heartworm/flea prevention medicine. His last vet visit was in October 2021 and he was given a clean bill of health. He is friendly with people, children and cats. He is selective with his dog friends, but gets along well with female dogs and those that are smaller than him. No bite or aggression history in the 7 years we've had him. His is a calm, low energy dog. He walks well on a leash, knows basic commands and is house-trained. If you are able to help my family, please respond to this ad. Thank you
