Pay $18-22 based on experience, paid training, medical, dental, vision & 401K match. Use of company vehicle during working hours & uniforms are provided. SERVPRO® is the premier fire and water cleanup and restoration company in the United States. We are currently interested in selecting General Laborer's to join our team. Essential Functions: • Perform and manage disaster restoration services in accordance with SERVPRO Production Guidelines • Comply with safety practices • Demolition • Job-site management • Job file documentation • Monitor, communicate and respond to customer needs • Communicate job-site details to Production Staff and Operations Manager • Participate in maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and facilities • Other responsibilities as assigned Requirements: • Must have a professional appearance and great attitude • A valid driver license with a clean driving record • Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions or misdemeanors involving violence or theft • Because we provide 24-hour emergency service, must be willing to be on-call as needed • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds • Must have a high school diploma or a GED certificate • Some night and weekend work as required Benefits: • Paid Restoration Certification Training Opportunities • Excellent opportunity for advancement • Opportunity to earn pay increases, bonuses and promotions based on exceptional performance rather than seniority • Learn a valuable trade focused on residential and commercial restoration work • Great pay while you learn and better pay when you advance to Crew Chief Physical and Work Environment Requirements: Regularly lifting 50 pounds independently, occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing ladders, working at ceiling heights, working in tight spaces (i.e., crawl spaces, attics), repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects, working with and around chemicals, and working overhead. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions such as heat, noxious odors, etc. The noise level in the work environment and jobsites may be loud. The employee will be required to occasionally wear a respirator for their safety.
