Description

We have 4 male and 6 female pups. I prefer they only go to single pet homes unless you want a pair. They can not go into a home where they will be pack dogs or a home with "vicious" type dogs. These are extremely friendly, loving, compassionate, attention seeking lapdog companions. I have never had such cuddly wuddly dogs. They will not have the capacity to defend themselves in a pack dog or alpha male setting. Don't even call if this is your situation. My son and I will be inspecting the living conditions before one can adopt these pups. These are hounds that will be about or less than knee high according to their mother's height. The suspected father is smaller. These are hounds so they need a yard that needs fertilized and appreciative neighbors when they warn of a two legged rat roaming about at night. They were born in the last couple of days of February and the first couple of days of March. We have been keeping them wormed, but they need their shots. These come from 2 litters. One litter's mother is 3 quarter Beagle and one quarter Plothound with the father being a texas scoundrel that I think is a small working shepherd breed. They are black with tan markings with the beagle ears. One litter's mother is English Pointer and the father is the same texas scoundrel. These pups are pretty much the same color. They too, have their mother's hound ears. The Pointer had her pups under the back porch and refused to come out until her pups were able to negotiate the world around them. The beagle had her litter inside and we kept them separated in the front yard until the two mothers were secure enough with each other to do no harm to the others'. Again, these are hounds and are lovy dovy dogs, not "see how tough I am" dogs. These are good companion dogs whose mothers can and do bay; with the pointer being more reserved in her approach to a question mark. Calls only please as I do not text or email.
