Anyone can be a Lifesaver! Sign up to volunteer at our event and get people trained and carrying Naloxone (Narcan). We are looking for Volunteers to assist in getting the public armed with the lifesaving drug Narcan (Naloxone). On Saturday, August 27, 2022, you can pick up free Naloxone (aka Narcan) nasal spray for a loved one or friend. Family members, friends of people who take opioids for pain, friends of people who use drugs, and anyone who wants to save a life are welcome to get a free kit on Saturday, August 27, 2022. We will be setting up in Opioid overdose hot spots across Fayette County. Locations will be dependent on opioid overdose hotspots and volunteer availability. In order to staff each of these locations, we will need many volunteers. Please mark your calendar and sign up to volunteer by clicking the link. A one hour training will be provided in the weeks leading up to the event. We will be sending out more information as the plan for the day develops.
