PASCO COUNTY, FL — A Georgia man is in jail following a weekend crash that left one person dead, according to Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers said the driver of a GMC Sierra, Erick Enrique Zheng-Sam, 27, of Martinez, GA was traveling northbound on CR-54 approaching Hyde Park Boulevard in Land O'Lakes when he struck a pedestrian walking in the northbound lane. Zheng-Sam was arrested for DUI and booked into the Pasco County Jail, troopers said. Troopers said the victim was a 31-year-old man from Land O'Lakes. His name has not been released.
