Johnstown Juneteenth Music Celebration The Flood City Youth Fitness Academy and Johnstown Branch NAACP are teaming up again to bring our annual Juneteenth Music Celebration to Johnstown! Tickets are $30 in advance, two for $50, and $35 at the gate. The concert will kickoff a week of activities and family-fun events for our community and visitors to share in African American culture, food, and music in downtown Johnstown. This year’s Johnstown Juneteenth Celebration will be one of the biggest in the state of Pennsylvania. The mission is to bring the community and visitors together for reflection, fellowship, friendship, and unity. The Johnstown Juneteenth Music Celebration will be held Saturday, June 11th, 2022, at Peoples Natural Gas Park. Gates will open at 1:00 PM. The Entertainment features an impressive line-up of Jazz, Rhythm & Blues, and other various genres, and feature performers from all over, as well as local talents. There will also be food and merchandise vendors from Johnstown, PA, DC, OH, SC, VA, and elsewhere throughout the event. The concert will start wrapping up at 9 PM. This Music Celebration helps get the education out about what Juneteenth is in America. It provides diverse entertainment to the area, and it’s a family-fun event for the city where people of all ages and all walks of life can come to Johnstown, see a great event, and enjoy what our great city has to offer. The proceeds from this event support the local youth education, recreation, and music programs of the Flood City Youth Fitness Academy.
