SUP Yoga involves the act of practicing yoga on a standup paddleboard (SUP). Enjoy the relaxing and calming waters while challenging your mind and body through various poses. Never tried yoga or SUP before? That is OK! This class is designed for all levels. Our certified yoga instructor and experienced SUP staff will be with you throughout the entire class to make sure everyone has fun and enjoyable experience! *Note* All participants 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Where: Prospect Lake - Next to Swim Beach Parking: 619 Prospect Lake Dr. Cost: $15 if you are bringing your own SUP. This covers your SUP daily permit pass and admission to class. *Note*- If you are bringing your own SUP, please bring a personal floatation device (PFD), or one will be issued to you.$25 if you would like to rent one of our SUPs.Class Capacity: Class capacity is 13 participants. Register soon! This event will sell out. A waitlist will be available. You will be contacted via email if a spot becomes available. About Vetoga VETOGA is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, based in Washington, D.C. and founded in 2015 by Marine Corps Veteran turned Yoga Instructor, Justin Blazejewski. VETOGA’s mission is to provide yoga, meditation, and healing arts to military, veterans, their families, and communities. VETOGA is partnering with UpaDowna to not only offer SUP Yoga to veterans, but to all members of the community! Learn more about Vetoga at https://vetoga.org/ FAQs: Do I need to know how to swim? No. All participants will be required to wear a PFD at all times so don't worry if you fall. Nervous about being on the water? Out staff will be available to SUP alongside to make sure you are comfortable on our SUPs!What should I wear? Wear work-out clothes that you are comfortable working out in. (Ex. shorts, leggings, dri-fit t-shirt or tank top). Sandals or water shoes that you do not mind getting wet are recommended.Have a group larger than 4?
