Michael Clem from Eddie and Ohio & Paul Bell from The Nighthawks Live at Gloria's The Gloria Faye Dingus Music Alliance is pleased to welcome the the debut of Michael Clem and Paul Bell to Gloria's Listening Room. Michael Clem (Eddie from Ohio) & Paul Bell (Nighthawks) have known each other for over 35 years. While the two Wammie Award winners had crossed musical paths and shared stages in various multiple bills over the decades, they’ve never really had a chance to do shows together until recent years. Following 31 years with the soon-to-be dormant Eddie from Ohio, Clem discovered that Bell had ended his 15 year run with the great Nighthawks a few years ago. Knowing he couldn’t let such talent go to waste, Charlottesville-based Clem began recruiting Rileyville-based Bell to drive down and support his various solo and full band shows in Central Virginia. The chemistry was instantaneous and a musical alliance was forged. Clem’s left-of-center originals and singer-songwriter craft have met the perfect complement with Bell’s ever tasty Telecaster chops that have made him one DC area’s most highly-regarded and sought-after lead guitarists. The Clem and Bell combination is worth a night out on the town. Tickets are $20 and advance purchase is highly recommended. Children 12 and under admitted free with parent or guardian. Doors open at 7:30 and the concert will begin at 8pm. Proceeds will go to The Gloria Faye Dingus Music Alliance, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing music education and instruments for all those wishing to learn and enjoy music.
