Meet the graduates, taste their food and learn more about the BEACON project! New Hill is honored to celebrate the entrepreneurs of our inaugural BEACON project's Food Business Bootcamp. You, our community, are invited to join us to engage and support the dedicated entrepreneurs at BEACON's first ever Pop-Up Restaurant! The Black Entrepreneurial Advancement & Community Opportunity Network (BEACON) is an incubator established to support the creation and expansion of Black-owned businesses in the greater Charlottesville Area. In phase one of the BEACON project, New Hill is building a 10,000 sq. ft. shared-use commercial kitchen. This kitchen will support up to 70 food businesses, both new and existing without regard to race. New Hill created The Food Business Boot Camp and enlisted the support of our partner, Culinary Concepts AB, to deliver training that supports operational knowledge, recipe development, enhanced cooking techniques and profitability. Huge thanks to Harrison Keevil, owner of Multiverse Kitchens, for hosting our event. You're gonna love the space!
