What is the importance of NARCAN training? On Wednesday, June 8, at 1:00 PM CT, the Herzing University Kenosha campus will host a Layperson Naloxone (NARCAN) training session. The Kenosha Health Department will offer NARCAN training to all interested students, staff, teachers and the community. During this training session you will learn how to: Recognize the signs of an opioid overdoseAcquire knowledge of how to administer the opioid overdose reversal drug NaloxoneUnderstand the role of harm reduction in the overall opioid public health crisis solutions/action plan/strategy.After the session, all attendees will get a NARCAN kit to take home with them.
