On Sunday, May 29th, style icon and entrepreneur Melissa Carter visits the The Art Center for an Exchange Event. From 2 to 4 PM, Melissa will speak about her experience in the fashion industry and her business, KAMEO VINTAGE in Winnekta, IL. As the first Black woman business owner in Winnekta, Melissa will lead a conversation about race, gender, and political views. KAMEO VINTAGE is recognized as a multi-faceted brand that houses highly coveted preloved garments, a place where personal style is reimagined and a brand that invest in leaders of tomorrow by offering a mentorship program for high school students.
